Where can I find you?

For now we are just located online, but we will be opening a new storefront in Summer 2024!

 

Do you offer price-matching?

We will absolutely do our best to beat or match pricing on the same product offered elsewhere! Just reach out to us with a verifiable price and we will see what we can do!

 

Do you offer any Buy-Now-Pay-Later options?

Yes, we work with AfterPay

 

I have ordered a Pre-Order or Special-Order item, what now?

Orders that have pre-order or special order items are shipped as complete shipments, unless otherwise requested.

Pre-order items will have an estimated date of arrival, but please keep in mind that this is just an estimate and is subject to change.

Special order or back order items typically arrive in 3-6 weeks, but at certain times of year it can take up to 8 weeks for an item to arrive to us. If you have timeline concerns, please reach out to us and we can give you a more accurate timing!

 

How do I check the status of my order?

We send the tracking number in a shipment confirmation email when your order is processed, and you can always reach out to us if you need additional information.

 

Do you gift wrap?

We do and we love to do it! By default we offer a simple, glossy white paper wrapping with ribbon.

If you would prefer something much more elaborate, we are happy to do so on a case-by-case basis.

We can even gift wrap things you didn't buy from us!

  

You have too many great options, I can't decide what to get. Can I do a gift card?

Yes! You can purchase a digital gift card online here.

If you prefer sending a physical Gift Card, wrapped and delivered to your recipient, please get in touch!

 

 

Jewellery

What size of ring / bracelet / necklace do I need?

Sizing is somewhat subjective - what feels most comfortable to you is what matters most!

For ring sizing, we recommend going to see a jeweller local to you.

If the ring is gift, you can always secretly "borrow" another ring from the gift recipient, and take that to a jeweller to find out the size. Just make sure the ring is for the same finger, that you want to buy a ring for!

For necklaces and bracelets, a length of string and a tape measure work well to find the length you like best! Keep in mind that necklaces tend to droop in the centre and bracelets droop to the outside of your hand.

 

Can I make modifications to the jewellery designs? (length or size, stones used, metal used, etc.)

For our fine jewellery - usually yes, but we will have to confirm the changes with the artist who makes the piece.

For our fashion jewellery - usually no, but it never hurts to ask!

For our vintage jewellery - it is often possible to have whatever changes made (within reason) that you want, but this can come with extra costs for custom work. Please reach out to us if you are curious about this.

 

How do I care for my jewellery?

Please try to remove jewelry when doing rough handwork that may damage the stones and when washing your hands, showering and sleeping. 

We recommend that fine jewelry set with stones or with small joints be inspected every 6 to 12 months by a jeweller local to you.

Light polishing of precious metals is usually best done with a jewellery polishing or rouge cloth, but be mindful to avoid stones.

Certain stones such as pearls, emeralds and opals are inherently more delicate and should be treated with extra care.

 

Do you offer a warranties, guarantees or certifications on vintage pieces?

While both Alchemy Fine Goods, and the reputable vendors that we source from, do our utmost to inspect and verify all aspects of every piece, we do not provide any guarantees of materials, workmanship, or provenance. 

 

Aghhh! My favourite piece of jewellery that I have from you needs to be repaired.

Don't worry, things happen! We will do our best to get everything fixed up for you. Please send us an email to support@alchemyfinegoods.com and include a few pictures of the damage, and we can start the process.
